HOMOPHOBES, most of 'em, are closeted gays and it's characteristic that most of such people are also conservative by nature. Their conservative roots come from a rural upbringing in a strict Christian household (i.e. those that interpret both Testiments of the Bible literally). Being gay, is a matter of your genetic makeup that determines sexual orientation. Most conservatives don't have control over that, so despite the unwanted gay orientation it's there and has terrible consequences for the psyche. I pity these people.

I didn't say conservatives are closeted gays, I said that homophobics feel homosexual tendencies they can't come to terms with and lash out at gays. I know this discussion makes you uncomfortable which is even more proof of your feelings.

Life is short, come to terms with yourself.
