My husband has been getting calls from guys in the industry (construction) for about two weeks now that he has never heard from before. They are looking for work or wanting to sell something. The only way we figured they got his number is we were recently issued a building permit in Seattle. They have glommed on to that and he's gotten to the point where if he doesn't recognize the number, he doesn't answer his phone.

People are getting desperate.
