"this is dragging on forever..." Nah... accuracy takes time. I heard just this morning on the radio that the recount was entering the final stretch. The authorities just finished ruling on the 400-off ballots that Franken's camp had challenged, and they are moving on now to the 1100-something ones that the Coleman camp have challenged. And, the uncounted absentee ballots (those which have been ruled valid and legal) are now down to something like '1,600' or so --- well whittled down from 6,000 strong they once were. And, PS, up in ALASKA the recount is almost finished as well! (And, wonder of wonders: it looks like the convicted felon Stevens might be heading back to Washington as reelected Senator....)
