The depression scenario is playing out. Raise taxes going into a recession and voila!

Also, Democracy is finished when people learn they can vote themselves all the money...the precursor.

Arnold knew all this. He tried for a year then caved in. Between the unions, legacy pensions and Maria, he had no chance of cutting. At least the cities can BK.

Tax revolt may be your only out other than leaving the state.
