Neo, still no sun-spots and it's almost 2009. Have you noticed winter in the northern hemisphere - it's cold and people are dying of it? If they think that's bad, wait until snow cover is 200 metres and the ice age is looking more real.

Meanwhile, heresy and Denialism forgiven by the Pope: news.bbc.co.uk 400 years too late, but better late that never.

Will it take you that long to forgive heretics and Global Warming Denialists from your cryogenic chamber under a kilometre of ice?

Wishing for Global Warming doesn't make it so. You keep mentioning how science works, but the first principle of science is that observation should match theory and when theory doesn't match reality, it's the theory which needs repair, not the reality.

After 100 years of theoretical global warming due to combustion in the fossil fuel era, it's no warmer on Gaia. Another century doesn't seem likely to necessitate a panic either. Meanwhile, the chlorophyll crowd and their dependants [which includes us] are loving it. Their water requirements are down, their productivity is up.
