Well, God, how do I answer that?.....

I listen to Brinker, and have taken in some great advice over the years from him, but I still use what he says as a launching pad for my own research.

But in terms of trusting him, what do you mean? He's a talk show host who got me started with investing. His ideas got me started, and I use many of his ideas, and some I dismiss. I read many of the books on his reading list, and some I liked and others were pure and simple crap. It was via his reading list that I found out about John Bogle (if you know who he is). Without Brinker, I may not have found John Bogle, and certainly wouldn't have found him as soon. (I really like Bogle)

I'm not sure about how to answer whether or not I'd trust someone who I listen to on the radio because it's a very limited relationship. i don't have any type of relationship with him where trust really matters. I get some ideas and advice from him, and that's it. It's not like he's dating my only daughter or something.

To be totally honest, I think his radio show was more exciting for me back when I lived in the bay area 12 years ago, but maybe it's me that's changed. Maybe 12 years ago was a honeymoon period or something, but I found the show to be more exciting back then. or maybe I found other outlets to get investment information.

I hope this helps. I'm making a sincere attempt to be as open as possible here.
