Hi Kevin,

I think we should see a bounce. Bonds are strong. Likewise the dollar.

<<<I wouldn't rush in and take opps in the first half hour because I'm not sure we'll bounce that fast. Euro markets have fallen 3-4% and I don't see wy we should be much different. Their bonds raliied and so have ours, but this doesn't seem to help the equity markets.>>>

FTSE (footsie) recovering as we speak, down .2% and British equities should have most exposure to Hong Kong. Continental Europe much worse but with matching weak currencies.

Agree on first half hour but I think we'll head up from there. BWDIK:0

take care

Good morning all

Been out of town--also busy taking care of other business -- so I've been logged on very little.

Well I am ready to step up to the plate --- any suggestions re quality stocks that have reached fire-sale prices.

I am ready to do my part in keeping this market together:)

Hells Angel Kev:

Red (wife) returned from her week trip to El Paso late last night.
I checked Globex early this morning and saw limit down.
Red was in the tub with the bubble machine turned on and eyes closed.
I told her to go back to El Paso.
Couldn't stand this limit down.
She comes home and the whole world tanks.
She just laughed and said she had mucho faith in my trading ablity.
When she left to go to the office, she kissed the top of my bald head and said " If it gets too bad, darling, if we have any bills , pay them off first.......gggg"

Well, mid morning, market blood letting slowing, transfusion not needed yet, and no report has been forthcoming on the meeting of the mental giants at the pub yesterday............

got some lower support figs for the OEX---

896...903...912...to go with the already posted 917...919...923...all of these below the close yesterday of 923.23

Surely there was a little discussion about the Cat babe at the floating of the keg last night.........care to share ?

Regards----Nemer

Kevin--great to meet you face-to-face yesterday. Who would have thought we'd meet the Hong Kong finance minister at Winberie's in Princeton?! I thought tying him to the dart board was a great gag, but I wouldn't have done it if I though it would cause an Asian market crash. Sheesh, try to have a little fun...

By the way, I think it's amazing you can work at your day job with your orange spiked hair.

Have a good day...
