Stella turned up today with a bloody left eye. Vet says no scratched cornea, but she may have injured herself with an ice crystal or some other irritant. She's on eye drops for the next week.

I used to throw a tennis ball down the middle of the street for our dog, Char, for 10-15 minutes a day - her favorite activity. It had the effect of wearing her nails down.
