I have beans on the brain. Am making a huge batch of pasta fagioli to freeze for next week. We have so many people for ten days, that we HAVE to eat in and actually cook. I am not an organized person, and unless I get a grip on this, we will all starve. My normal culinary modus operandi is to ignore meals until someone else orders Chinese. Would far rather gather around the piano drinking and singing. That works with the boys since they grew up that way and think it's normal. However my brother has to be fed regularly, and we have Annie to impress, and Dan's sister and Mom will be in and out. I have already frozen a beef-noodle and cream cheese casserole and a chicken-spinach pasta bake. Feel very domestic. Am going to try your meatball and salsa recipe too. Hot appetizers are always impressive.
