Bush considering "orderly" auto bankruptcy

It's too late. Bush has already announced that he doesn't want to be a "Hoover" and will bail them out. He has to do it by this weekend if they are going to cut GM a check before the end of the year.

By giving away his final position, the Union has him by the b***s. Time is too short to negotiate anything else. If he doesn't get it out, GM has to go chapter 11 Jan 2nd.

White House considering "orderly" bankruptcy to deal with ailing automakers

That is as opposed to what? A "disorderly bankruptcy?"
