One of our sons was in an industrial accident, and had to have 3 surgeries....2 from the front and the last from the back...screws slipped out, cage went sideways etc....He's about 25% disabled now (only about 43), but is much better now than he was...

I think I will be fine...I do feel comfortable with the Doc ...

As things turned and are turning out....perhaps the hospital event for me was necessary to get my attention. I've known of the problem, at least part of it, since 2001....but "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" has been my MO....

The Doc did say they KNEW when they did the MRI and the XRays that they knew I'd have to have surgery...so dismissed me from the hospital, so I could get the required shot out of the hospital arena, and have the surgery scheduled and admitted as a planned admit, and not from an "emergency" admit.

Makes sense to me too... That's why he doesn't want me to continue ignoring it....
