That's largely true of course. But they're also smarter with their bribe money.

Interestingly enough, those industries that focus on bribing conservatives (ranching/sugar/oil etc) seem to have also done well to date, inasmuch as no one is questioning *their* corporate jets or ongoing taxpayer support. There may be a political lesson in that somewhere.
