I very rarely use 4x4 low. I can shift on the fly from 2wd to 4x4 high with a push of the button.

Warning: Don't try to shift into 4x4 low when you're moving.

One of our office staff drives a Lincoln somethingorother. Rear wheel drive and does not even have all season radials. She stayed parked in our lot at the office today until 3:00 pm. Took three of us to get her out. The car is so ridiculous, it doesn't even have a good place to hook a tow strap onto.
