Yep!

Looks like pomp gets his Christmas wish: Stevens goes to Washington - only to be ejected from the Senate in one of the early Senate actions of 2009 - and then Palin gets to appoint herself as the temporary Alaskan Senator!

(And take some of those fine, fine, super-fine new duds to D.C.)
