Naomi, The house has been through a number of owners. We're renting. It was built in the first decade of the 1900s and was the home and office of a doctor for some time. It went through a time as a rooming house, and then housed the county mental health offices. You're right. The ceilings are quite high, and the light fixtures are beautiful. Fireplaces in 3 rooms on the main floor and in what had been the master bedroom upstairs. It was remodeled somewhat before my firm moved in in 2001.
