Their grammar is horrible, the language filth and their enunciation is a mumbled incomprehensible noise. Don't schools teach kids how to speak? Obviously not. This is a real sore spot with me. I've gotten to the point I avoid gatherings of teens, just for these reasons.

That's along the lines of one of my pet linquistic peeves: "We don't got no [fill in the blank]."

OTOH, there always been people who were not taught to speak proper English. There do seem to be more of them these days though.

If the teachers would concentrate on the basic English, Math and Sciences, we ALL would be better off! Jive talk is just a recipe for no responsible jobs and not good incomes.
