Yup............success is probably a composite of lots of things.

I think some of the steadiest, generally good paying employment will fall to plumbers, auto mechanics, electricians - skilled trades. They seem always in demand, you generally don't need any student loans to get qualified, and you actually make decent bucks WHILE you're learning.
