Age is just a chronological fact. That doesn't bother me at all as I have no control over it. It still remains that age brings all kinds of obstacles to deal with after 50, 60 and 70 which affect the life from thereon. Many under 50 are dealing with cancer and treatments which adversely affect their life and aging.

Being old does suck and getting old is hell to deal with which is my opinion. Mostly I find that I can not do the things I was capable of doing until I got to this age and that bothers me the most. I really learned my lesson after falling down my stairs backwards trying to carry a boxed computer printer upstairs and it was just too heavy for me to hold and walk up the stairs and I injured my back. Torn muscles and soft tissue damage which are more painful and takes longer to recover from. Ten years ago I could have done that easily, but proved I can't now.

Most of the Gits are young enough to be my children and I care about them. They will approach old age and probably come to the same conclusion....<gg>
