the left may get nervous but they don't have anywhere else to go -- Obama is their best chance for progressive leadership in many decades...Yet, Obama realizes he must govern from the center most of the time -- especially if you want to get things done...and Obama will work very hard to be a bridge builder and find new ways to enlarge the center in this country.

I'm interested in people put in secondary positions. That will tell a lot. A vislick (sp?) can perhaps smooth the way with the Monsantos of the world, as he is cozy enough to fly about on their jets, while weaning us away from destructive farm policies. I think it could be an excellent choice. The lower picks at ag will tell a lot and then as we see policies coming out. in the meantime, I hope people keep speaking out about the changes that could benefit us all (not just the monsantos).

I think most his picks have that sort of thing going for them.
