Congratulations on the victory and being the only one to end up in the black! Would have been a sour win otherwise :)

2009 should be a whole lot better.

Congratulations and respect too. The best and in profit - this Year!

I've made a payment as requested. Cheap for the entertainment and welcome distraction provided during the year. Thanks Bulbaman for your work.

Rough year, one winner and the only fellow
in the green--that's something else.

Eight years running is not too bad--plenty of ideas
on SI haven't persisted year after year. I'll be
sure to get my check in the mail just as soon
as I can, and congratulations to you!

I hope there is someone willing to take this up in '09.
For the life of me I don't know what I'll choose next
go around, probably cannot do any worse than my showing
this time--I'm guessing I did at least -50%, what is my
number anyway Bulba, did I capture last place?

A few things I've followed for a decade now might not
even make it into the new year. I've had to watch the
demise of Targeted Genetics, that is sad. I think a
pretty honest effort in a nearly impossible niche.
I'll have to discover some new outfits and give them a whirl
(although not with real money these days).

My real world return for 2008 is about nil--which really isn't
so bad, losing a little to inflation and a weak dollar, that
I can stomach. Plenty to be grateful for in a rough year for
many--especially those working in biotechnology at what
has to be getting closer to the bottom of the latest boom-bust
cycle.

Congrats and pledge sent to Red Cross. Great to see such good participation from everyone.

All the best to everyone in this coming new year of the ox.

Special thanks to Bulba for his tireless record keeping.

Now to figure out my picks for '09.

I feel that 2003 and 2009 will have something in common, but I'm hoping it ain't Tuck.

Heh, heh.

Bob;
It does not surprise me that your best performing stock put you over the top - that it was a 5% pick does!

Great job, my pledge has been made with you listed under "Tribute Information".

Congratulations Robert on a great win! Sent my donation to the Lee County Alabama General Fund for the Red Cross. Another great choice!

I'll post a donation to Bulba' charity as well when I can log onto the site.

May 2009 bring positive returns!
