One fictional character chose to become a single mother and inevitably glamorize the concept of single motherhood at a time when single motherhood, the leading cause of child poverty and a contributor to many social problems, was increasing. As for Sarah Palin's daughter, no one is "cheering" though many are relieved that the father apparently intends to marry the mother of his child. But hey, liberals tend to misrepresent conservatives opinions and positions, don't they?
