This is an update on a table posted on 11/1/08 that compared data on the SOX stocks from 20 July 2007 to 10/31/08.

Message 25131787

Since that time, further deterioration in stock prices, earnings estimates, etc has occurred. The downside is more severe than ever.

Compared to the data at the end of October, the Group and SOX are down about 5 percent more now than then. The other indices are down further as well. At this point, all next year earnings estimates now are lower than 18 months ago. Growth figures for the most part are lower. PEG's are also higher or non existent.

At the Percent Change line, next years earnings are down 75 percent, PE is 60 percent higher, long term growth is 26 percent lower, and PEG is 115 percent higher.

IFX is on "life support", down over 95 percent. AMD's earnings estimate was in the red 18 months ago, and continues to go further in the red, and joined by several more symbols that have gone into the red.
