<offtopic> JRGEE, You must have better things to do with your time. My thesis was on the role of volume in determining the "true" information content of an announcement of an open market share repurchase. That is, can one differentiate across OMR announcements with respect to after-the-announcement share performance based on the amount of abnormal volume in share trading before and around the announcement. The answer is yes, if you also look at some other factors which can be measured. As far as reading it, I have a copy of it, and the Indiana University Business School Library (which published it) has a copy....it just missed the best seller list. jess.
