very much so, getting out of dollars, both corporately and personally.

however, a problem, the collapsed shipping pricing is flooding the corporation with undeserved tsunami-fall profit, all in usd, as the corporation sold coal cif, previously unhedged, and bought fob, with built-in shipping cost of usd 20+/ton (plus normal markup on goods shipped), now actualized at $2/ton - unseemly, one might say.

deflation is not great.

deflation is fantabulous.

especially following on to inflation fright, on one-off basis, for a while, as long as one can escape balance sheet damage for the most part, and to be followed by inflation, so that one can apply simple rules of buying high, selling higher, then buying low, and wait for higher.

a game of "what's ours is ours, and what's theirs is ours as well", ala unreal tournament last man standing death match prime directive, kill and let die, before the sheriff gets in arena, when ashes to ashes and dust to dust might happen against oneself.
