Clarification:

My last TA Update does not mean that I believe the market will be up for the next 2 wks to 2 months.

We are in a secular bear market, not a cyclical one, which means that we will make a lower low next year sometime, and that technical rallies can fail at any time.

In a normal bull market correction, there are legs upward that last at least 2 wks to 2 months, but in bear markets they happen less frequently.

It would not surprise me to see this market turn back down soon or at least top out and then drift downward again.

Some more strength into the next week or two, albeit choppy, would seem more likely than a 1-2 month rally to me at this time.

That could change if we see institutional accumulation as evidenced by heavy volume rallies.
