Wrong, Not wrong. While the company has claimed they are not losing money on the Prius, a careful reading of their remarks suggests that they're not discussing a "fully costed" Prius. Professional analysts pretty much agree they're losing money on every Prius sold. So, F*ck off, Benedict. You turd.

Wrong, as per usual for a pompous clown with his head up his partisan ass. Well said! The final bailout for Detroit should include a 'forgiveness of federal debt' on every very high mileage car they sell, and a federal 'consumer rebate' for each domestic very high mileage car they sell. Push-pull marketing to raise the fleet MPG average... save the car companies and put extra stimulus $'s in peoples pockets that would normally be going up in gasoline fumes. Plus it would sock it to the oil exporting countries in the ME and Venezuela and Russia as well as reducing the trade deficit. It might, in the end, actually pay for itself.
