TP, water pollution doesn't come from the air. It comes from liquids being tipped into it [and some solids too such as lead].

It's true that air from China is so disgusting that some water pollution comes from air, but mostly it's just dirty run-off from a billion people.

London was disgusting 100 years ago and even 50 years ago it was quite stinky and gooey. Now it's just dirty and filthy. But it's pristine compared with Beijing and the big smoke of China.

CO2 doesn't need "cleaning up". It's what is exhaled by fauna of all types. It is what is inhaled by flora. It's the primary carbon carrier around the ecosphere. We do NOT want CO2 production "cleaned up".

Meanwhile, still no sun-spots and it's pretty much the end of 2008.
