Christians don't worship any fallen human beings. And Christians don't believe one earns salvation by anything one does on one's own. Most especially not merely by taking a PC political position. Thinking that one acquires merit for backing the right politicians, party, or social/political positions is a form of idolatry. Since you're talking about Jesus, I should probably inform you he wasn't a Communist, nor was he a teacher or prophet of sexual libertinism. "Whatever gets you through the night, is all right ... all right" is not from the New Testament.
