I suspect most of them would claim that Bush had nothing to do with the events of the past 8 years.

I don't suppose many people, for or against Bush, would claim that their investing behavior had anything to do with the events of the past 4 years either.

Worse: something like 22% of the population would *still* vote for Bush, if opinion polls are to be believed. They're so enjoying the smoking ruin of a country he's left us that they'd vote for him a third time.

What's really frustrating is only now are those same people freaking out about the deficit.
