There've been a rash of arrests in Houston of HISD school teachers bringing weed to work with them. search.yahoo.com Clearly, if these folks had simply left their weed at home, they would have had no legal problem. Why is it potheads can't seem to resist putting their weed in their cars and driving around with it or in their pockets and purses and taking it to work or shopping or shoplifting with them? So when they get stopped for a traffic violation, or they get caught shoplifting and their pockets are searched, or someone looks into a purse in a teachers lounge - bang, there is the weed and they get arrested. Maybe there s/b public service announcements or ads in pothead magazines that say, Leave ... Your .... Weed .... At ..... Home!
