Jim, I'm not sure. The reason is probably: October 23 12:36 PM EDT Acuson Corp. Sees Continued Negative Impact On International Sales biz.yahoo.com I haven't had time to really read the annual rept yet. I'll certainly try to find out how important this is. Down over 5 pts now. Ouch.

Also there appear to be a couple of huge trades today. If I read this chart correctly: fast.quote.com There was 1 trade at over 200000 shares this morning, and another at (over?) 300000 shares this afternoon. Does anyone know how to find out more? Each of those are over twice what the "Baseline Company Profiles" says is the average daily volume of ACN's stock (101,100 for the past 30 days). I'm not sure if it's a cause or a symptom of the price drop.
