Atmospheric gasses are "fixed" in frozen snow during the process of snow precipitating out of the atmosphere. Any atmospheric physics person could explain the process.

Been there, done it. It's old science that's well proven as you know.

I've come to the conclusion it IS a conspiracy that cooks the books. Look at the bogus hockey stick graph they had to abandon that made the medieval warm period and the little ice age completely disappear.
