HUN - what do the value folks here think about that one? A mediocre chemical company with a bad balance sheet. They were supposed to be taken private but that deal failed due to the credit crises and Hexion and their banks getting cold feet. However they get a 1B$ in cash (250M$ thereof as a convertible @7% interest rate through a settlement with Hexion and they now have even better hand to settle with the banks. Now HUN total market cap is only 800M$ and their tangible book value (pre settlement) 1.4B$. HUN sure looks cheap although I expect some pretty crappy operation results for the next few quarters.

Opinions welcome.
