You probably have more in common with Bush than you realize. I was amazed to find out how much shady real estate deals were done in the past 8 years. I wasn't - You should've been reading this thread. In any case, Bush probably didn't know what a CDO or derivative was, nor did he have a clue what the appropriate Fed rate should have been at some discrete point in time....anymore than Obama does. At this level, you pay the most qualified people in the world to figure it out for you. And that's where Slimey Al et al. come in. The curious thing is that Obama hired pretty much the same crew.....although the kurrent krop of kool-aid drinkers are not about to admit it.
