Isn't that the truth, Smooth Sail? We were taught in the propaganda class I took years ago and have mentioned, that if an article has a byline on it, it is an OPINION, and not news....and therefore belongs on the OpEd pages.

The way most papers are today, they should call themselves OPINION Journals, and not Newspapers.....

If you took out the opinions of the "reporters" there would be no story. They don't look for facts, they make up a story and go with it. Look at that guy on the NYTimes who didn't even graduate from College and pretended to be a hot shot reporter who in truth, stole other people's stories from lesser known papers and most times didn't alter them enough to even tell the difference.

Who was your father a reporter for or can't you say?

The journalism class 101 I took always started off with the 5 W's and one H "Who What Where When and Why and How."
