I dealt with 8" of snow yesterday and today we are a balmy -13 and my furnace at work here is froze up. I'm not starting the week on a good note.

We hit -45 wind chills yesterday afternoon. It was quite ugly.

This whole winter thing came on us very unexpectedly or we would have done it differently. We do use the cabin a lot during the winter, so we don't want to close it up completely. We just don't usually get this kind of Colorado type weather, so everyone was caught off guard.

We get around quite nicely, so I just love it. I need to find a pair of Cross country skis before this all goes away.
