Not to argue the point to far, but it has been said "Who wants to buy a car from a bankrupt company?".....I would say it is more likely that people would be more afraid to keep their money in a bank rumored to be failing, despite any insurances and guarantees of the funds.....

I agree it is a pretty fine line, the publics right to know balanced against what might be best for the short haul.....confidence is a very fleeting thing.....I'm just 2007 away from getting the best prices ever for my product and not having a clue if there will be a viable market in 2009. Uncharted waters for a lot of us born well after the 1930s.
