Yes, which further illustrates my point. That the problem with GM isn't "bad management", rather, it is "bad economic times".


Dude, the onerous UAW contract was signed in the early 1980s. GM has lost market share consistently since the 1960s. GM has had numerous unprofitable years during the past 40. True or not true, GM cars are infamous for their lack of quality.....in fact, I read that at one time, GM designed their cars so you would have to replace them 3-4 years down the line......I think it was called designed decay. Finally, most GM cars are the ugliest, least innovative cars on the road.....you even agreed to that observation. In other words, bad economic times are exacerbating an already bad situation brought on by incompetent mgmt. Its indisputable.
