Don,

So they have a proven history of failure also <g>. My point being that the CEO knows how to build a business - he's done it before. It just so happened that the company didn't adapt quickly enough to a changing market - a mistake that will likely not be made again.

As they reinvent themselves, I take comfort in knowing that they have this experience behind them.

Peter

when it went down from $35 it was under different leadership, was it not? am i forgetting my history or wasn't john mitcham, the current CEO, the old presiden of AT&T Paradyne and wasn't he credited with their amazing turnaround? wasn't it he who is credited with architecting tricord's change in strategy? that is why i bought this stock and he HAS a "proven history of success". assuming they've kept some of their engineers over the years, i think their technical successes speak for themselves. they were the king of the hill in their day. too bad the wintel duopoly and the ensuing commoditization (sp?) of their product forced their relatively small company out of that business.

i'm keeping the faith... go mitcham... go TRCD!!

;)
