"(Unfortunately the new Knight Rider series kinda blows ...)"

Just kinda? That is like looking at the surface of the Sun and saying it is "kinda" warm...

The pilot wasn't too bad. Mindless fluff, but...

The series, though, is in another universe. I think the writers are 12.

Maybe.

I guess neither you nor John took notice of the Chevrolet "American Revolution" ads over the past few years, starting with this one?...

There you go...see, that's what I am talking about...it's all about creating mind share...of course you have to design good cars, position them, make them well, stand behind them, etc...it's a business in which there is no room for slackers...come to think of it, I don't know what business is not like that nowadays.

Ah...man..the good old days at IBM...money came in as if on semi trailers trucks, through the loading docks.

Al

PS: I have seen cool commercials from Ford on their higher end ...but I have never seen the GM one you linked. It's not much good if they don't put it on TV.

"When you think BMW, your mind subconsciously things "the ultimate driving machine"

Hmmm. I was raised by an ad man, who inoculated me to that crap. When I think BMW, I think overpriced sedans with decent but not spectacular performance marketed to insecure, small penis'd twits trying to seem cool. You'd think now that ALL the insecure twits OWN BMW's, they'd have lost their cachet.
