Quality, especially for the first year, was awful. On mine, there was always something going wrong. The anti-lock brakes that would seize up on one side of the car under heavy braking was the worst.


It was embarrassing.....having come out of the used car segment of the market...trading in a pickup......my first great[read expensive] car.....making a big thing that I was buying American. Even in its last year of production, the car was not much better than a chevy or a ford. I think the fenders were made of fiber glass. It was a real disappointment. That's why when I was ready to buy a new car, I decided to go back to foreign brands. That decision has saved me a ton of money.

To think, I traded in my Fiero for it...

Yeah, well we all got duped. You can't trust those Americans. ;-)
