Three diminsional thinking (abstract thinking). I made it up and use it to describe abstract thinking versus concrete thinking whihc I consider two diminsional-lol.

You need to pick up the book "The Black Swan". It will revolutionize your thinking.

Taleb, shows how our minds really process information and how we unwittingly fool ourselves. It is truly a revolutioary book. He says people do not like to think abstractly as it does not come naturally. We are hard wired to think in specifics, not generalities. I had figured this out in my 20's.

He says people think in terms of specifics and not generalities.

I have studied how the mind works my whole life, but his book has taken me to a whole new level of understanding.
