I'm not sure what you mean. They already have a Solaris version that will run on PC's. Admittedly, the amount of people using Solaris on their PC's versus Microslop's Doze is miniscule right now, but who knows where we will be 10 years from now.

Raymund, the difficulty is not in the OS. It's the applications.

There are Solaris/Linux/OS2/JavaVM? for the X86 cpu. It is the

games, the applications(spreadsheet,...etc) that people are used

to and think they cannot live without them. Java-application may

help in that regard and that is what MSFT is trying to stop. (Bill

said, NOBODY can have a PC without MSFT-ware, as evidenced recently

by CPQ's disclosure). With the monopolistic position that Bill has,

he can ever tell Reno to shut up and have a life while I am making

all the money and providing "what the customer wants", regardless

if the consumer wants it or not.
