OpCo's Michael Metz was just shown on CNBC thumping his chest over the selloff today. He was throwing out phrases like "this is the end of the 'new paradigm'...", "this will temper the 'equity cult'...", etc. He then went on to say we've already seen the high end of the equity market range throughout 1998.

He was acting pretty cocky throughout the interview. And again, Mr. Metz--certainly no slave to fashion--looked like he still can't find a comb to save his life.

Sooner or later these goofs have their day. Today is their day. Their day may last a bit longer who cares. This Mr. Bowtie has been a great contrary indicator for years. I see no reason to change that view. He is on CNBC stating he is short Hong Kong and is staying short. We'll see. At any rate great entertainment. The Dow still has a trading range of 7600 to about 8300. The bears still have some more room to whail and whine. Well see where the Dows at in 2,5,10, years.
