No, it's an interim bear market, at least in gold equities. We
have been killed since March along with everyone else, even
more so than SP500 bulls. Nobody can say if it ended yet,
although I suspect it did. I am just managing risk for
the gold portfolio accordingly.

The good news (or the bad news) is that once this interim gold bear market is
over, it is going to Mars. The target is 2K by 2011. I'm
afraid gold won't stop there and go into 5 digits. Needless
to say, this event (gold going to 2K) will confirm
hyperstagflationary depression. I am not saying it can't
happen now, just that nobody cancelled the interim gold
bear market yet. The fundamentals could not be better -
the Fed's actions will unleash enormous inflation once
the global economy recovers a bit.
