smile, there is a reason she is the wisest person I know after all these years. and dare I confess... uhm... I used to watch out my window on 18th st for when she would walk her dog, and then I would... just happen... to go out to walk mine. she is one one wise woman. and always makes me think twice. or thrice.

when I talk of El Cheapo and that day... it can sound 'easy', but I was really very scared. Here was a man saying how he'd gone after blacks, in a hateful way. And he had the drop on me. And a gay or a black... some blacks might not like gays, but people who not like blacks, well, they not like gays either. I figured I might be bad hurt that day. Who knew I was going to hear a confession? smile.
