What part of this post do you need explained to you? Hint... read the last line slowly: "The EFFECT of making regular LUMP SUM purchases as soon as you are paid has a similar effect on your portfolio as DCA but it is called "regular contributions" or "regular investments" not DCA by most I've read." Just because a tidal wave kills as many as an atomic bomb doesn't make them the same. Your bias is showing but that was to be expected.
