I've got news for you. The CEO of GM ain't capable of running the company.

This is a pretty naive remark.

It isn't reasonable to expect the guy who currently runs the company to be able to undo the damage of prior managements allowing the union to run over them for decades. It takes time.

Uh.....why don't you check things out before you post. Wagoner's been with GM since at least 1981. He's been CEO for the last 8 years. He is hardly knew to mgmt:

"After Harvard, he joined GM as an analyst in the treasurer's office. In 1981, he became treasurer of GM's Brazil subsidiary and later served as managing director.[citation needed]

In 1992, he was named GM's chief financial officer, in 1994 he became executive vice president and/or president of North American Operations, and in 1998 he was named president and chief operating officer. He became president and chief executive officer in June 2000 and was elected chairman on May 1, 2003. During his reign, GM shares have plummeted from around $60 in June 2000 to as low as $2.79 in Nov 2008, a loss of approximately 95%."

I honestly don't know how well the current CEO is performing and you certainly don't, either.

Well, I'll tell you....since he took over in 2000, the stock has dropped preciptiously, he has failed to gauge the demands of the market inspite of the fact gas prices have been rising since 2004, GM continues to lose market share to its competitors, the company has lost money since 2004 and now is on the verge of BK.

Frankly, I think he's done sh*t and needs to be replaced.
