Are you kidding? Brinker missed the bear,.... That much is true. And as dija says, no one else predicted it either. SO who the hell was Brinker calling "Cassandras" back when the market was at 1400 shortly after he issued a gift horse buying opportunity at 1450? If I recall, Brinker went on that "Cassandra rant" a day or two after I posted an article for ECRI on my blog saying a recession was inevitable (mostly because the stimulus package and rate cuts were too little and too late.)
