Andy, M. Murphy mentioned in Nov 10, Fortune article on Biotech funds. Xoma not mentioned and Murphy treated in cavalier fashion inspite of fact he picked IDEC and CORR before many others and these two stocks now at much higher prices appear on list of stocks "poised" to get new drug on market. (i.e. coy way of Fortune being able to avoid saying they recomended stocks yet claim success if stocks perform) M.M. (not my mother) has only $1.6 in his biotech fund and article sidebar by Atanasov makes snide remark that while fund is up 35.9% since March ..."at this stage it may be more of a gamble" Article points out how few biotech funds there are but omits closed end funds, of which I am aware of 3.

Since biotechs are hot and Franklin Tempelton is in process of launching new one I think other fund families will also copy the concept. Just my opinion. All very indirect for XOMA but intend to keep following. BTW I was pleased with the relative strength in biotechs today.
